Editing posted shader on shadered.org

I posted a shader on shadered.org. Is there a way to edit the shader code? Or do I need to delete and re-create to edit?

You can either press the "Fork" button to open the shader in SHADERed Lite and then edit the code, upload that and then delete or private the shader you've forked. You can also change the code on the "Quick edit" page and then use the "Quick fork" feature (if you just want to make small changes).

I could add the ability to directly edit the existing shader but not sure if I should though. Does Shadertoy support that?

And thank you for porting that shader to Rust and posting it to shadered.org . Keep it coming! 😀

Thanks for the quick response!

I wasn't able to get the upload button to work. I ended up posting mine with the Quick edit/fork.

Shadertoy does support editing. I know some other similar platforms don't. I like the idea of being able to edit as you can have an example that you can refine over time with a consistent link. Though I can see how not having that feature can make sense in some contexts.

You're welcome! Will do. Thanks for your work on this awesome tool!
