Funny behavior on macOS when launched via symlink

When I launch Shadered with full path, like ~/Code/SHADERed/bin/SHADERed on the command line, everything is fine.

When I create a symlink such as ln -s ~/Code/SHADERed/bin/SHADERed ~/bin then launch it by just typing SHADERed on the command line, then the GUI is completely scrambled.
