Vote on ICRC-2
This issue is an official vote of the Ledger & Tokenization Working Group on ICRC-2 as specified in the proposal. How to vote:
- React to this issue with 👍 if you agree with the ICRC-2 proposal and to bring it to an NNS vote.
- React with 👎 and leave a comment with your objection if you oppose.
The Working Group will accept only the votes of the core members. However, if you aren't a working group member but have technical objections or comments to this proposal, please leave a comment. We'll try to address it according to the rough consensus model.
DIP20 approve uses set / overwrite ICRC-2 approve uses add
just like renaming existing types makes things more complex (e.g. TxIndex -> Nat... Tokens -> Nat...) approve add is more complex than approve set
😀 I don't know what's better 🤔 just pointing out that one is more complex than the other
