Seamless Scrolling

Currently, if the mListView is updated with new cards, it auto-scrolls to the point where new cards are inserted.

However, what if I want the list to remain as it is (stay on current card) ?

Alternatively, if it scrolls off automatically, is there a way to ascertain which card the user was on before he got scrolled away ?
