Infill for clips

I don't know whether this is my utter noob status here for 3D Printing, but when I print openLock or Triplex pieces, it's causing infill to be extruded into the gaps for the clips with solid walls and it's a real pain to remove. Any advice on either how to reduce the level of infill or how to remove this without damaging other parts of piece?

I think that is an issue with supports. You should be able to turn off supports and be fine!

I had a similar problem once last week.
