Cobol is an old Programming language from 1959, still widely used in banks and insurance.

Surprised yet delighted to see COBOL requested here 😅 As part of my first job I built static code analysis tools for a software modernization company. I find it wild how there are still not many viable alternatives to COBOL in modern languages because of floating point precision not being exact.
