[BUG] Quick frame switching makes the workspace unresponsive

Quick frame switching tends to cause the app to get stuck on some random frame and not allow any more switching. A couple of quick taps on a frame switching button always does this for me, and makes the whole app kinda unresponsive.

I've also noticed this. Usually in the middle of trimming something.
