Video Editor SDK like huwei as inspiration

dear team, would it be possible to use the huwei video editor ui sdk as inspiration? They are not continuing the development on this, we are using that currently in one big project. It would be awesome if we could go that direction with the video editor, i would help in coding with your support if we can cover many functionalities from there, what you think? https://github.com/HMS-Core/hms-video-editor-demo

i even asked to huwei if they may make that open source that we can use the code from them. dont know what you think?
