PUT \ POST routes Basic Auth

Would it be a good addition to have optional basic http auth on some routes?

I did that in my private fork and can clean up and send PR here

I've just made an example as a fork \ standalone repo.

I'll find a neat way to name \ group all the different examples and implementations shortly!
