Any plans to support or add support for audio files?

I may be missing this someplace, but when I open a backup file that contains audio snippets in it they aren't available. Is there any plans on adding this or could I help to add this?

@jdarling, I'm not connected to this repo at all, but I have my own version and would be interested in adding the functionality. Can you upload the XML code from the backup file that contains the audio snippet? (You can remove the audio file itself.) I'm assuming it base64 encodes the file, correct?
