I suppose that's too big of a topic, i.e. should be split into several smaller chunks like

• a classic "monolith" on the cloud (just using EC2 + maybe S3, RDS & ElastiCache)
• serverless stuff (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Cognito) -> maybe #19
• IoT stuff (Lex, Alexa, MQTT broker, device shadows)
• mobile? (Cognito, Cognito Sync ...?)
• OPs stuff like CloudFormation et al
