Drive/volume letters are not released reliably on eject requests

Open Tallefer opened this issue 8 years ago • 1 comments

When mounted, volume letters immediately appear on the drive toolbar, as expected. But unmounting anything is a big problem, as Explorer++ "grabs" that volume root, even if it was not accessed (via Explorer++) by user actions at all. Ejecting attempts from Windows Explorer are almost guaranteed to fail, while trying to eject the same volume from Explorer++ sometimes works, but often causes a ~30 sec freeze and also fails. Seems like Explorer++ does not want to give up drives so easily. :)

Connected to #82 Could be closed, if Explorer is not supposed to eject volume letters.
