TFC 1.12.2 Compatibility?
Now that TFC 1.12.2 has gone beta, it would be more than awesome to get Streams generating on the TFC world again. I believe this was some customization done for the 1.7 releases. My understanding of the 1.12 TFC worldgen is that it has similar results, but isn't the same architecture at all. Not sure whether this is interesting enough for 1.12, as TFC has some radically different world gen plans for 1.14.
If it's doable, it would be amazing!
I too think a return of this compatibility feature would be ideal. It would really spice of TFC TNG's worlds just that bit extra, and would fit thematically too. This gains my vote.
Ah, good to hear that TFC 1.12.2 has released! I was following that project at the beginning but sort of lost touch while I worked on porting Streams to 1.13 (now 1.15, still ongoing). I'd love to have Streams compatible with TFC again, though it's unlikely I'll have time to work on 1.12 especially since I have a high-priority bug to fix in that version first (#74 and others). Hopefully TFC updates to 1.15 at some point and I can adapt the new Streams then.
Thanks for the reply. I agree those bugs need squashing first. If it helps, the TFC 1.12 worldgen is a forward port of the TFC 1.7 worldgen, which you had compatibility with.
1.14/1.15 is a future target for TFC too, so I still have hope. That's a fair piece off yet for TFC.
