Clicking on submitter's name to see additional information (Name, email) and send messages or leave notes.
Most information about the submitter is already shown when you review translations. Can you check this? Isn't it sufficient?
I was only able to see their username, I believe. So I wasn't able to get in contact with them at all (Except by leaving a message on the Review, but those messages disappear if I accept them)
You're right.
The problem is that we cannot just show their email address to any project maintainer. They would have to agree, of course. So maybe we'll add an option to the settings screen, e.g. "May we show your email address to project maintainers in case they want to contact you?" or something like this.
Anyway, a profile is probably not necessary. We have the username (already shown on the review page), the real name (shown as well, if available) and the email address (issues above). That's all.
That's true, a profile's not really needed. I'm just looking for a way to contact the submitters. And I agree, showing email should be opt in. Or have a box and a submit button, and the server sends the email.
Agree. I'd prefer the approach where we just add an opt-in line in the settings (right below the email field) and show the email address on the review page, accordingly :)
