multiple air conditioners of the same type HELP !!
I have 3 Hisense AEH-W4E1 to integrate into home assistant. The first works perfectly. But I can't integrate others. I don't understand how to change the configuration file for other air conditioners of the same type. Could you give me an example? This is my configuration file log_level: INFO mqtt_host: core-mosquitto mqtt_user: xxxxxmqtt mqtt_pass: xxxxxmqtt port: 8888 app:
- username: xxxxx password: xxxxx code: hisense-eu
thank you
The "HiSense Air Conditioners" integration for Home Assistant will initially discover all air conditioners using the configured apps and subsequently report them to HA. However, it will not detect new devices once the initial discovery is complete. So, if you installed the two other A/Cs after you started the integration for the first time, it will not detect them.
To re-run the inital discovery, do the following:
- Stop the "HiSense Air Conditioners" integration in HA
- Navigate to
/usr/share/hassio/homeassistant/on the box HA is running on - Delete the directory
hisense(and its contents) - Restart the "HiSense Air Conditioners" integration in HA
thank you. it works !!
