[Feature Request] Better preview for changing BG color

When changing BG color for the room, there are few problems getting in the way of previewing the result:

1. Room is greyed-out twice by Level tab and by Color Picker window
2. Color is not applied right away, but only when you've closed the window

I'd like to remove grey-out when color picker is opened and apply color right away if possible.
