Move ND4J website content from soon to be archived nd4j repo

Open AlexDBlack opened this issue 7 years ago • 3 comments

AFAIK the ND4J website is still hosted on the gh-pages branch of deeplearning4j/nd4j repo. This repo will be archived (locked) soon as part of the mono-repo migration, at which point it will be read-only.

So, we'll need a nd4j-docs repo? Or can we have something show up on nd4j.org from this repo? @crockpotveggies

Sorry I'm late to the party on this. Personally, I'd prefer to see a merging of the two websites. We have so much interdependency when a new user is "getting started" that I'm leaning towards integration as part of our Q3 information architecture overhaul.

@eraly is leading that effort and I'm interested in her opinion here, too.

I wonder how the traffic on the nd4j site compares to the dl4j. In any case, I agree with Justin. We should integrate them all onto one site. As of now the dl4j site links to the nd4j user guide and beyond that there aren't any links. Is there any restriction from the Eclipse foundation that we should be aware of when merging the docs all onto one site? Assuming none.
