Jumpy RTSP Stream

First off, thank you for this awesome piece of software! I am currently connected to this rtsp stream

rtsp://rtsp-test-server.viomic.com:554/stream

The only thing i edited is the URL string in the config.json and it shows on the frontend. However, I have noticed the stream is extremely jumpy, gif attached below:

What can be the problem here? The rtsp stream seems to play fine on VLC player
