Hey @jpsoroulas, just wanted to let you know that this PR (and your other one) isn't forgotten. I'm in middle of preparing a Debezium workshop right now, so I'm a bit constrained time-wise. I'll get back to this asap. Thanks again for your efforts and sorry for the delay.

No problem @gunnarmorling , take your time, good luck with the workshop!

Thanks for the update to this PR, @jpsoroulas! Big sorry for the delay with this PR, it fell a bit through the cracks :( I'll get back to it now.

No problem @gunnarmorling! When you're ready, please do not forget to also check PR #204.

Hi @gunnarmorling, I hope I am not imposing on you but I think it is time to close the PR. It is around five months old and I constantly try to keep it updated. If you are still interesting, lets make the changes and close it. By the way, nice presentation at DevNation Live.

Hey @jpsoroulas, you're not imposing at all. I really feel bad about how this one was handled (or rather not) and all I can offer is a sincere apology. It constantly got put into the back seat due to other things going on, there's just too much.

I'm definitely still interested and would love to get it done. Right now it doesn't seem to apply, so could you rebase it one more time and update the PR? I'll then apply some changes (e.g. adding a link to the OpenShift/Strimzi instructions) and it should be good to go. Thanks a lot, and sorry again. Looking forward to getting this in soon.

I am glad to hear that @gunnarmorling! I merge the branch and I also update the versions of the used libraries

Hi @gunnarmorling, the PR is pending for a long time and since the debezium site has been majorly refactored, I find impractical to keep this PR open. I updated my gist for debezium installation according to the content of my PR.

If you still finding the article interesting you can added at the debezium online documentation resources.

keep good working!
