Spoon is awesome new programming language, what combines the best things from Ruby and Python. Spoon is open source, cross-platform and runs on top of Haxe.
Projects written in Spoon can run natively on any platform that Haxe supports, so
- Any platform on what you can run C++, so almost everywhere
- Android/iOS/Windows Phone
- Windows/Linux/Mac
- Browser (NodeJS, HTML5, PHP, AS3)
Spoon is still in heavy development and not usable yet, so feel free to help me and contribute
Installation
Add this line to your application's Gemfile:
gem 'spoon'
And then execute:
$ bundle
Or install it yourself as:
$ gem install spoon
Usage

Development
After checking out the repo, run script/bootstrap to install dependencies. Then, run script/test to run the tests. You can also run script/run for a CLI.
To generate documenation, run script/doc.
To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
