acode 1.8.6: gets stuck on starting animation

Hi, today I tried to open acode on my phone, it was working before, but it stays forever in the logo animation screen. I tried to: kill and restart app, delete app data, uninstall and reinstall, nothing changes.

Further details about the issue: OS android 11 Acode version 1.8.6 Install source f-droid Device Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro

Was using terminal plugin for termux but since I deleted all acode data I think it isn't there anymore.

Please tell me if I can give you more useful information

Same issue with 1.8.8 with Android 11 (lineage 18.1) on a Lenovo P2. 1.8.7 was working fine (thank you! ;-) so I downgraded.

• Android 8
• F-Droid
• v1.8.7 works fine, v1.8.8 is stuck at starting animation
• Resetting / reinstalling does not fix.
