A problem I have in a current project is that you should be able toggle it halfway through the animation and make the height start animating towards zero again. So if I have an animation and doubleclick, for example, a button that releases a dropdown menu during one second, if I press it after 0.5 seconds it should animate back to 0 rather than finishing the animation.

Open to a PR. I agree that that would be ideal; however, the current code does not allow it because of the significant complexities it introduces. I remember thinking about this a while ago when I first wrote the module. If you or any one else can figure this one out, go for it!
