omitting "bpm" command doesn't cause bpm to reset to default

Open davidedc opened this issue 11 years ago • 4 comments

this is common to all branches.

  1. go to sound -> industrial example
  2. change bpm value to something substantially higher
  3. delete line with bpm command

Expected: bpm goes back to default Obtained: bpm stays the same

This is probably due to how the bpm-via-midi mechanism works.

Is there a way to have the expected behaviour above to work consistently with your bpm-via-midi mechanism? ( Maybe @noio can advise? )

I'll take a look! :)

Thanks man!

(Also - bpm updates seem to only take effect "at the end" of a beat rather than "immediately". Is that because of some good reason that escapes me or rather just an implementation detail that could be changed?)

Just a quick note to say "I'm still on it!".. My game has been keeping me busy.
