Get-DbaMirrorStatusChange Get-DbaMirrorStatusHistory Get-DbaAvailabilitygroupHistory Theres some DMVs that hold the mirroring stuff too IIRC and definitely for the AGs as well That would be good when did it failover - what caused it "beat the ass of this"

This Get-DbaAvailabilitygroupHistory would require reading the XEL session data from the health session for AG. This is the only location on an instance that would contain why it failed over, with the exception of the errorlog for the instance.

The DMVs for hadr and availability groups only gives you info on the configuration details and some performance info on how the replicas are holding up (redo log size, various queues, etc.).

We can use the Xel reader to make stuff pretty now. Maybe I'll do this with my new 💣 Azure Container Instances

Ref #920 that was closed as being the users can utilize Get-DbaXESession -SqlInstance sql2014 -Session System_Health | Read-DbaXEFile

Same applies to this, it is the same session to read along with the one for the AG health.

I'm going to try to start working through all the Availability Group tickets, I figure I would start with the oldest one. Can you provide me more details on what you want to see from the history?
