I have been told that someone is adding "fact check" related data here.

Is that true? How might I learn more?

Fact check data (in the form of ClaimReview markup) can be found here: http://datacommons.org/factcheck/download

Those datasets contain some portion of all fact checks published (see details on that page). To explore a larger dataset, have a look at the Fact Check Explorer.
