data.all admins should be able to send custom email notifications to users
Is your idea related to a problem? Please describe. Currently there is no way for a data.all admin to send a custom email notification to the users / select groups in data.all. This is needed in case there is downtime - in case of maintenance (https://github.com/data-dot-all/dataall/issues/998) - or there needs to be an urgent bug fix which needs users to not use data.all.
For such tasks, data.all admin should be able to write a custom email , select required groups / ( individuals - optional ) and then send that email
Describe the solution you'd like As this UI should be accessible to only data.all admins, this can be added in the "Admins settings" section . Here, the data.all admin should be able to write an email body and select to whom he wants to send the email. Make the UI experience such that once the data.all admin sends an email the UI clearly states if this action was successful or not.
