Update of image

Hello - I've got a 3x3 setting. Sometimes the image disappears and I have no idea HOW to update it?! (I can remember, a long time ago it was easy on NewTabTools, I just had to click the UPDATE button...). Thanks in advance.

in another thread, i can see user denishowe answering:

1. Then you can click the New Tab Tools icon in the toolbar then click "Capture Thumbnail".

= it has absolutely no effect!

2. you can right-click the tile, select "Edit this tile", then under "Saved image", remove any existing image then click the Save current thumbnail button.

= nowhere on my screen (firefox) i've got "Edit this tile" or "Saved image", nowhere!

3. Rather than capturing a thumbnail of the page

= i don't want to capture any image, i just need NTT to update the image when necessary

Typically, you'd "Pin to the New Tab page" from the toolbar icon before you did "Capture thumbnail".

"Edit this tile" is on the context menu you get when you right-click a tile.

I haven't used the "Tiles from your browsing history" for a while, does that auto-update thumbnails?

i don't undestand what you mean

"Edit this tile" is on the context menu you get when you right-click a tile.

i do not have "edit this tile" when i right click on the tile, nowhere!

ok, i solved my problem but i'm sure how

i think i did capture an image from the "cross" sign in the firefox toolbar

but

NTT was better before

i never understand why "designers" always want to "improve" what is already perfect (or almost)

for instance, every change at firefox is pure shit!

my theory is, thos people never use their software
