Slide show freezes

Hello there,

I haven't been able to get an exact amount of time, but after say about a day or so the slideshow stops. All of the other modules are running just fine except this one. It's up to date with what ever the last revision is but it still freezes. Thoughts?

What size of images are you using? Works best if they are the same resolution as your monitor.

The images are in fact the exact same pixel size as the screen. 1920x1080

I have similar problems. Slideshow freezes half a second before the first image is fully displayed (display gets dark). Testet various image sizes, without effect. Working (not) on Pi 3 B (none plus)...

any ideas? Is this a result of updating MM?

Hi, I also got some freezes : after random working time, screen goes to full black, mouse pointer is back but magic mirror doesn't display anything else. I'm using Pi 4 and I only use 3 pics with low quality (200 or 300ko) Anybody can help or give some tips ? Thank you ;-)

Hi every one, I have the same problem, the slide effect is not smooth, it freeze in every animation change.. Could someone fix it? Thanks in advance!!
