wrong filename in description
Hi, I had the problem that background images never showed up. By reading through the closed issues I saw someone using "modules/MMM-BackgroundSlideshow/exampleImages/" instead of the path 'modules/MMM-BackgroundSlideshow/exampleImages/' stated in the description --> That worked for me
modules/MMM-BackgroundSlideshow/exampleImages/ is the same as modules/MMM-BackgroundSlideshow/exampleImages/. Can you please explain what needs to be updated? Thanks!
The quotes are different. Double quotes (") instead of single quotes (').
Huh, that's weird. Aren't they the same?
It shouldn't matter, but it seemed to help jowe2.
I need help. My MMslideshow images (default) don't show up. I've been on this for three weeks. I have tried on RPI 3b+, and with a different image on Pi zero W. Im going nuts and pulling my hair out. Can someone please work with me on this. My MM work great, just not the MMslideshow. I have used cut n paste on everything.
@sparky56 can you see anything in the DevTools Console?
Might be the same issue as this issue.

How large are the images? Are there any errors?
Image sizes are smaller than your original ones.
No errors on dev page.
I removed my images, and sudo reboot.
Again 3 images then froze up.

Look at the backgroundSize setting for how to display images of different aspect ratios.
