I think this problem is related to this [issue](https://github.com/payloadcms/payload/issues/12463).
Same for me with a Pixel 9XL Pro. I installed the latest Nightly. Let's hope that this fixes the issue. 
The latest Nightly also fixed the high battery drainage with my device (Pixel 9XL Pro).
