Own Charts Marker (MarkerImage) is differently drawn in Charts 2.x and Charts 3.0.1

I migrated my code to Charts 3.0.1. The own chart marker is derived from MarkerImage.

In Charts 2.x the marker offset is corrected automatically in case the marker does not fit fully into the chart view. See image below.

In Charts 3.0.1 the marker offset calculation seems to be different. The marker view is drawn outside the chart view and thus cropped. See image below.

Any ideas what's the different between 2.x and 3.0.1?

Have you found the solution for this? I'm kinda having the same issue with regards to bounds of marker.
