🐛 BUG: Reputation points set back to 0

What went wrong? 🤔

My reputation points got reset back to 0, I didn't have many but I'd like to know why it happened if it is normal. It happened right after I restored my streak, it's the first time I do that so it should be free, even if I had to pay, I had more than 25 points to pay for that.

My nick on daily dev is Damalgar, as here

@Damalgar Sometimes when a user downvotes your comments / posts it could lead to a drop in reputation points. But we will check.

I agree, this is probably because of (negative) community interaction. It may not have a connection to the restoring of the streak at all.

I don't comment much, and I don't have posts, so unless one of my few comments got blasted I don't see why I lost more than 100 points

You may have received two downvotes (-50 × 2) on your comments, which is quite common; comments tend to get downvoted more often than posts and can have 5x the impact. However, it's also possible that the issue comes from a problem with the CRUD operations, as other developers have reported similar cases.
