🐛 BUG: Unable to close pop ups on certain pages, widget is in the way
What went wrong? 🤔
Example from a medium article
The widget is in the way of closing the popup and cannot be moved around or reduced further making it impossible to view the article without having to disable the widget
Expected Behavior
I should be able to close the popup and view the article
Steps to Reproduce Issue
1. Go to 'https://faun.pub/why-senior-developers-google-basic-syntax-fa56445e355f'
2. See the widget is blocking the close button
Solution Proposed
There could be a third layout, open summary, close summary and a new minimize summary. Where we would only see a small arrow to open the reduced summary again.

@Maxenor Yes this is a known issue that happens with the companion widget.
@sabdailydev Hello 👋,
I’d love to help tackle this issue—could you please assign it to me? I have two proposals to improve the widget’s usability:
Proposal 1: Draggable Handle
Make a draggable handle so users can reposition it anywhere along the edge.
Proposal 2: Minimize & Restore Buttons
Add a dedicated “minimize” button that collapses the widget to a small arrow or icon.
Add a “restore” button on the minimized icon so users can bring back the full summary view in its last position.
Ensure the minimize/restore controls are always visible but unobtrusive, so the page’s close button and content remain fully accessible.
@ozpool Are you still open to trying to implement a fix?
