Clarification on Rate Limits and Account Suspension
Hi,
I used the get_user_following method to fetch a list of 800 user IDs from my main account (3 years old, continuously active, no proxy used). The rate limit table shows “500” for this endpoint—does this mean 500 API calls per 15 minutes or a limit on the number of accounts fetched? My account was suspended after this.
Also, is there any known way to recover a suspended account or quickly set up a new one to follow the same people? Twitter is an important source of information for me.
So far i only used it to gather posts no ban. But i wouldnt do anything else besides that. There are other ideas to abuse this but I am not going to share that. It's probably best to stay away from free Twitter data, not because I think this project is bad but there is a reason why your account is banned now. This way of accessing the so called API uses your account to fetch the data not the API at all as I understand. Only legit way of not getting banned is probably to pay.
is it possible to recover the account? It seems that someone use it with my main account and it got restricted
