Startup boost is visible

Open PaulCoddington opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

System information

  • Windows OS version: 11
  • ImageGlass version: 9.1.8.723
  • ImageGlass release: Classic

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Enable Startup boost.
  2. Reboot and sign in to desktop.

Actual behavior

ImageGlass window appears and persists for a short period of time.

Expected behavior

ImageGlass window should not appear on sign-in.

Additional context

Minor issue, low priority, but unexpected Windows appearing and vanishing on startup can trigger alertness for malware or something else having gone wrong. eg: startup programs that are normally invisible sometimes all become visible after an update has gone badly.

Hi @PaulCoddington

Enabling Startup Boost will auto-launch ImageGlass and hide its window. After a few seconds, ImageGlass will exit.

  • Can you tell me where does it appear (the location on your screen)?
  • Are you using multiple monitors?
