Backup/Restore blockchain sync data (Blocks, transactions)

For private coins were restoring a wallet takes awhile (Such as Monero). A handy feature would be the option to backup the blockchain block syncing and blockchain transaction data from the chain into a file and to be able to restore this data to save time when restoring a wallet on a new device and will reduce bandwidth traffic on nodes.

Not an expert in this, but I assume all that is needed is the transactions IDs to be backed up for the wallet and the last block height. When the wallet is restored, it can fetch the transactions from the blockchain and set the block height and the wallet is synced up to the point of the block height.
