Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Currently, we are reusing SecretKeySelector, we need to create a custom object instead of using SecretKeySelector

I'm interested in working on this issue, but I'm unsure where to begin. Could you please provide some pointers or resources to help me get started on creating a custom object to replace SecretKeySelector.
