Changing colors requires changing the puzzle back and forth

(on windows) I edited the colors through addition of a facecolors.txt file with the jar closed, and when I open it again they were still the default ones. However, when I changed the puzzle to another one, then came back to the 3^4, or when I scrambled it, the colors were correctly changed.
