Backspace and Delete not working

Describe the bug Unable to edit mistakes with Backspace or Delete. Possibly related to non-US keyboard mapping?

To Reproduce

  1. Type something 2a. Hit Backspace 2b. Hit Delete 3a. Nothing happens 3b. Nothing happens

Expected behavior 3a. Delete one character before the cursor 3b. Delete one character after the cursor

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Ubuntu Linux 20.04.2 LTS

I am also on Ubuntu 20.04 using ox and backspace works fine for me on my system using a English[Canada] Keyboard. This may be a non-US keyboard mapping. Is it possible to try a different keyboard to make sure?

I use a French AZERTY keyboard and for me backspace works but delete doesn't work. Your guess that it is related to keyboard mapping might be right.
