Hello,

I can't reproduce this at all, is this issue still occurring to you?

I have the same issue with Chrome on Android. I cant use the Android selection tool after long pressing instead it only shows the cryptpad copy button hovering over the text but I cant use the selection tool to decide which text to copy/remove etc.

I just tested on Firefox mobile: holding my finger on a word brought up a bubble menu with two options:

  1. Paste
  2. Select all

In order to copy just a piece of the text I used a workaround:

  1. Choose the "Select all" option
  2. Narrow the selection to just the desired text

Performing the same action with mobile Chrome opens CKEditor's custom context menu rather than the native one. This offers two options which are much less helpful (Paste, Comment). I was not able to find a workaround for this.

I had the same problem. I found out that double tapping selects the paragraph. Maybe this helps.

To be exactly, you have to double tap a blank space above the paragraph.

I have the same issue on Firefox / Android / Samsung. Interestingly, selecting a single word in a rich text document with double tap works occasionally. I tried excessively and maybe one in thirty attempts works. Not enough for practical use though.

This one is an absolute show stopper. I really like CryptPad/Drive. But I cannot recommended it to anyone with that showstopper in it.
