Automatic Pictures upload stopped working (Android 12)

Summary

The backup folder for Images doesn't have any recent picture in it

System Setup

- Android: 12
- Cryptomator: 1.7.4

Here the story: I used to have a mobile phone with external SD car (Samsung S9+), I have recently upgraded to a new phone (Samsung S22Ultra) that has a single large internal storage.

I have reconfigured Cryptomator on the new phone (specified the parameters and the target folder in the Vault), however I still don't see any new picture uploaded where expected.

If I have to guess Cryptomator is looking locally in the wrong folder since all my pictures are now to be found under /DCIM/Camera

Is there any way I can troubleshoot this and perhaps force Cryptomator to look into a custom defined folder when looking for pictures/videos?

I'm not sure this just stopped working

Expected Behavior

Pictures and Videos taken with the internal camaera to be backed up by Cryptomator

Actual Behavior

No backup is happening.

Can you please

1. Enable debug mode
2. Take some pictures
3. Unlock the vault associated with the auto picture upload
4. Send us the log file

Do you happen to have multiple folders within your dcim/camera folder? I have a similar issue in that it auto uploaded files under dcim/camera but not folders under that as it’s not recursive.
