[Feature Request] separate wiki-style links and backlinks to modules

Hi! Just landed here after the Roam-esque rabbit-hole, and I'm very glad there's groundwork on this 👍

Might I suggest to separate the two functionalities (1. wiki-style links 2. backlinks) to Hugo modules and their own repositories? This would help to include in other themes and setups and might attract additional collaborators too.

To be honest I'm a newbie regarding Hugo so I don't really know how modules work, but I indeed think It would be a good idea to separate the functionalities.

The discourse forum isn't working for me (seems down), do you have access to the forum or is just me?
