To resolve this would require the entire flow of the search to change, since clicking the search engine would no longer produce a result, so an additional action element (button?) would have to be introduced created a minimum of a 3 step process.

I this this isn't quite a duplicate, but definitely blocked by #93 having a clear path of resolution. It might become a duplicate depending on how #93 is addressed.
