[LINUX]: Fullscreen and a few more questions.
- [Yes] I tried searching Solar2D forums for the solution.
Describe the bug
I have a Linux setup and I compiled a copy of Solar2D on my machine (Debian 11), once I have made sure that it was working and all, I then proceeded to actually open one of the test projects, the Knight one (https://github.com/coronalabs/Sticker-Knight-Platformer/) and decided to test it. What struck as odd to me was the fact that when I exported my build to Linux, I could neither resize it nor make it enter into fullscreen mode once the application opened. Why is that? Is there anything lacking on that front? A response from an user in this forum post (https://forums.solar2d.com/t/fullscreen-works/349212/2) suggests to me that this behavior hasn't been implemented, but I am not so sure so that's why I am writing here.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: 1 - Have a Linux setup 2 - Run the snap or compile the Solar2D application with all of its dependencies met 3 - Open the project through the main app (Sticker Knight) 4 - Export to Linux 5 - Open the App
Target platform and where build was made:
- Device: an x86-64 Linux machine
- OS: Debian 11
Additional context
This is where I want to know a few more things about the Linux situation, because when I was trying Solar2D, I was looking to see if there were any exports for other platforms. But it seems that the application only supports building to Linux, HTML5 and Android. Is there any way to have at least Windows added to that list of build options for exporting?
Another thing I noticed was the lack of documentation when you open the app. Seemingly, it seems Solar2D users can access this functionality when they open the app in other OSes, but on Linux it seems like when you enter the doc page at the beginning of the app, it shows nothing or doesn't work. Is this intended functionality or something like it?
This is all from me.
Cheers! MetalMaxMX.
