Mac Simulator keyboard shortcuts

I would love it if the following keyboard shortcuts worked in the MacOS simulator:

command-~ Toggle between windows. This command works when the console is the front window, however it doesn't work when the simulator window is in front.

command-k To empty the console window. Ditto, This command works when the console is the front window, however it doesn't work when the simulator window is in front.

Possibly this could be accomplished by letting unused keyboard commands flow through the simulator window to the console window? Having these keyboard shortcuts working would really enhance my experience of developing using the simulator. Thanks for considering.
