boot guard after me_cleaner? pros and cons

I ve been hearing that boot guard may not work or wont work after IME deactivation

What is better to have the gates or not to have the gates?

I've just confirmed that disabling ME by enabling AltMeDisable or HAP will not disable Intel Boot Guard.
