Shorthand syntax doesn't seem to do anything

In both the CLI and web, if using the documented shorthand notation, the syntax seems to be ignored. My ingredient simply shows the preparation as it's typed, in parentheses, directly next to the ingredient, in the steps. It is not shown specially or reflected in the ingredients list or anything else. I'm not sure what the specific intended behavior is, but this does not seem to be:

These preparations will be clearly displayed in the ingredient list, allowing you to get everything ready before you start cooking.

Thanks for reporting, yes, that's because the CLI hasn't got the update with recent spec changes yet. ETA, end of this month.

I also noticed that the CLI doesn't take into account the following:

• YAML front matter syntax for metadata
• Sections

But I guess it's a similar issue than reported by @dfego and the CLI needs some update.
