fail fast when elasticsearch is configured but not available

It happens a lot that new kor installations seem functional (even the search since it has been unified) but then new material isn't included in the search and small errors pop up. The reason is that elasticsearch isn't available. So when its address is configured in .env, it should be available and the web interface should some kind of feedback if it isn't.
