controlled vocabulary to in browser based input form of database
I asked this question in another fiorm in issue #231: but again, my editors asked several times if there was a function in the browser-based input mask of the database that could be used to manage controlled vocabularies for input into certain dataset fields. these vocabularies would be defined in advance and could be stored in the database structure to be retrieved and selected upon input. this type of input mask with pre-defined field contents would considerably reduce the error susceptibility of data, as it would no longer be possible to enter one's own definitions. especially in cultural-historical work, as in our Maya project, in which artefact definitions are based on reliable authority data (like Getty Thesaurus etc.) , this function would be advantageous and even necessary. For version after v.4.0 it would be a very useful feature
