Feature request: Soft disconnect function

Hi there,

I'm wondering if it's possible to add some "special code" on the upper node output side to inform the next node input side that it's now "disconnected". In this scenario, we could simply use a Boolean trigger and "special code" to configure the workflow instead of re-wiring it. That would be helpful.
